Some of the greatest things about an all-American road trip are the quirky roadside attractions you come across, so say a big howdy to the Jolly Green Giant statue in Blue Earth. Head out across the great prairies of America's original western frontier, where resident coyotes utter the occasional howl as you settle down for some shut-eye under canvas.

Travel to 1880’s Town and experience a replica of an old west town in all its gun slinging, saloon swinging, lawless (not really) glory. Not quite Westworld, but immersive enough to get dressed up and channel your inner Buffalo Bill. Admire the historically correct buildings and authentic relics that have been collected over time. Then it’s into the Badlands for you. Touching down here feels more like a moon landing due to the bizarre lunar landscape of low-slung buttes, chiselled spires and saw tooth ridges. The rugged beauty draws people in from all over the world and you could see bison, Bighorn Sheep and prairie dogs.

It's not every day you get to see the faces of America's presidents peering out from the granite face of Mount Rushmore, so get your camera at the ready. The sculpture features presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln and it's pretty darn huge with 60 ft. high faces, 500 ft. up. Close by you’ll witness another rock-carved epic, the Crazy Horse Memorial. A memory to the famed Lakota Indian war leader, this is an impressive sight not to be missed.

Wild Wyoming is up next as you'll head to Cody in the heart of cowboy country. Embrace the regions cowboy roots, shake a leg and try some two-step as the buckin' bronco rears its massive head! Nothing says Wyoming more than a good dose of rodeo and a Stetson, which is why you'll enjoy an included trip to the Cody Rodeo (June-August departures only).
